Linda Diane Larson, age 60, passed away on June 15, 2026.

Linda was the beloved daughter of Diana M. Svolos and the late Lawrence Larson; cherished sister of Candice L. Kostecka and the late Jeannine M. Larson; loving granddaughter of the late Anne and Andrew Svolos; and treasured niece of the late Florence (Louis) Vitale, Laura Rizzo, and Mike Rizzo. She was a devoted godmother and aunt to Matthew L. Larson, aunt to Robert L. Kostecka, great-aunt to Matthew A. Larson, and dearest friend to David J. Namest.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, Linda grew up in the neighboring communities of Cicero and Berwyn. She had a deep appreciation for music and especially enjoyed attending live concerts by her favorite artists. She was a devoted fan of Taylor Swift and found great joy in sharing time with family and friends at barbecues, outings, and special gatherings.

Linda loved the outdoors and enjoyed bike riding, nature, sightseeing, and exploring new places. She had a generous spirit and was always willing to help those less fortunate. Her love for animals, especially cats, was evident throughout her life.

As an optician, Linda took great pride in her work and genuinely cared for her patients. She was known for her kindness, compassion, and nurturing nature. Family and friends will remember her as someone who would do absolutely anything she could to help others in times of need.

Linda's warmth, generosity, and loving heart touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at Daleiden Mortuary (220 N. Lake Street, Aurora, Illinois 60506) from 3PM until 6PM. The memorial service will be held at 5PM.
