Liborio Carrillo, beloved son, husband, father, grandfather and brother, 65, of Oswego, passed away peacefully Monday, May 24, 2021 surrounded by his family.
He was born the son of Jesus and Josefa (Salgado) Carrillo in Delicias, Chihuahua, and raised in Morelos Guanecevi, Durango, Mexico.
Liborio was a Tool and Die Maker for Ask Products in Aurora for 40 years. He was a hard worker and handyman. He had a passion for real estate and home renovations. Liborio was a gold hearted man who loved to help others. He loved his grandchildren as his own, and helped to raise them.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years Antonia Anaya De Carrillo; his daughters Marisela (Frank Gutierrez) Carrillo of Oswego and Evelyn Carrillo of Montgomery; his son Mauricio Carrillo of Oswego; 3 granddaughters Clarissa M. Aguirre, Averie N. Madrigal, and Jazlynn S. Lopez; 2 grandsons Miguel A. Madrigal and Jacob L. Ibarra; his mother Josefa Carrillo of Aurora; 7 sisters and 3 brothers; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his father Jesus Carrillo; his daughter Yajaira Carrillo; and his granddaughter Angelique I. Ibarra.
Funeral services will begin Saturday May 29, 2021 at 9:30 AM from THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY to Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church in Aurora. Fr. Timothy Mulcahey will officiate with interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Aurora.
Visitation will be Friday, May 28, 2021 from 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 North Lake Street, Aurora, Illinois. 630-631-5500.
Due to Covid-19 pandemic protocols, non-family visitors are asked to pay their respects to the family for only a few minutes and exit the funeral home in a timely fashion. Social distancing and face masks are required for those in attendance.
