Leopoldo Lorenzo Jimenez Cruz, 80, passed away on August 24, 2018. He was born the son of Lucia and Leopoldo Jimenez on October 11, 1937.
Leopoldo was a retired heavy equipment operator as well as an active member of the Local 150 Operating Engineers for 30 years. He started and was a partner in ML & L Excavating with his two sons and grandson. He was a kind man who will be missed by many family and friends.
Leopoldo is survived by his three sons, Leopoldo (Donna), Richard (Kim), and Michael (Pam); and seven grandchildren Brendt, Christina, Andra, Chad (Kelsey) Kelly, Adam, and Cara.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 North Lake Street, Aurora, IL 60506.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 30, 2018 at 10:00 AM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY with interment at Lincoln Memorial Park to follow.
