Leo Ralph Olah, 99, of North Aurora, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Asbury Gardens. He was born February 10, 1924 in Aurora IL.

Leo was a proud WWII veteran (Navy), past all-state commander of Post 7452 in Montgomery IL, and a member of St. Joseph Church.

He worked at Western Electric and Bell Labs.

Leo made friends with everyone he met and was a person who could fix anything. He enjoyed various interests and hobbies, including gardening and flowers. He also had a fierce competitive spirit and was an avid golfer in the Aurora area for decades.

Leo is survived by two sons, Robert Olah and Terry (Kim) Olah; two grandchildren, Nick Olah and Stacy (Mark) Lazzara; and two great grandchildren, Ashlyn and Averie Lazzara.

He was preceded in death by his spouse Jeanne (Howe) Olah; parents John and Helen (Denny) Olah; and by daughter Cheryl Olah.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 23, 2023 at 10:15am at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY. Fr. Jerome Leake will officiate with interment at Riverside Cemetery.
