Lawrence R. Cadieux, 88, of Oswego, passed away Friday, February 10, 2023 at The Reserve at Oswego. He was born April 8, 1934 in Chicago Heights, Illinois.
He was a proud veteran of the US Army. He retired from General Mills after thirty years of service as a line operator. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, he will be deeply missed.
Lawrence was the loving husband of Joanne (Peiffer) Cadieux; he was the devoted father of Jeanne (Craig Seibert) Spaniol and Barbara (Michael) Pozzi; he was the proud grandfather of four, Michelle Pozzi, Stephanie Pozzi, Giovani (Sam Davis) Pozzi, Brian Spaniol; he was the beloved great grandfather of five, Natalia Sanchez, Marnaeah Sanchez, Nikolas Pozzi, Christopher Davis, Mason Davis; cherished brother of Charles (Gayle) Cadieux; dear uncle to many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence C. and Leone L. (Parks) Cadieux; his brother, Dennis Cadieux and a son-in-law, John Spaniol.
A memorial service will held Friday, April 28, 2023 at 12:00 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY; Fr. Alex Parafina will officiate. Interment will be held privately at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
