Laverne H Miller, Jr., 60, a proud veteran of the Army passed away suddenly on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at his home in Aurora, IL.

The son of the late Laverne H & Barbara Miller Sr., Laverne was known by everyone as Junior. He was born on October 10, 1960 in Muskegon, Michigan. He and his family lived in Hoyt Lakes, Minnesota before moving and settling in Aurora, IL.

At the age of 18 Junior enlisted in the Army. He valued his service highly and attained the rank of SP4. As part of his service he was a track vehicle mechanic.

Junior is survived by three brothers, David D. Miller of Aurora, Robert L. Miller of Port Orange, FL, and Jeffrey (Anne) Miller of Aurora. He worked as a mechanic at various places...Montgomery Ward, Farm N Fleet and Jiffy Lube to name a few. He enjoyed eating and watching TV, especially cartoons and old movies.

A graveside service will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery in Aurora on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 11:00 AM.
