Obituary

Laura Li Marzuki-Bauder of Montgomery, Il passed away suddenly at her home, Monday,
September 2nd. Laurie was born February 7th, 1940 in Aurora to Emil and Dorothy (Konen) Stull.
She was a graduate from Saint Nicholas Grade School and Madonna High School. She worked at
Thor Power Tools in the accounting department.
Laurie loved the outdoors and especially the Wisconsin north woods where her and her late
husband had built a lovely home on Lower Kimball Lake. There, she would feed the deer and
watch them from her front porch and shoo away any hunters that would threaten her "babies".
She also had a passion for gardening, always being in the flower beds when the weather
permitted. There was much more to her hobbies. She loved photography. She was always the one
with the camera but never, hardly ever, was in the picture. She also liked to have tropical fish in
the house along with the multitudes of bird feeders in the backyard to keep the birds and the
squirrels fed.
She always kept her door open to any family member who needed her. She opened up her home to
host the family Christmas party every year and was always there to lend a hand, or a dollar, if
someone needed it. Her generosity had no bounds, always quick with a smile and a twinkle in
her eye.
Laura Li may never have realized how many lives she has touched and influenced, but her
extended family does. Saying she will be greatly missed is an understatement. We are all sure
she is in heaven with our Good Lord and all the family who have gone before her.
She is survived by her husband, Ken Bauder; three sisters, Diane (Ed), Efsic, Dorothy Schorn and Marge
(Robert) George; two brothers, Gary (Jan) Stull and Michael (Lori) Stull; two sisters-in-law, Marsha (Nicholas) Stull and Carol (Bill) Kinney; her nephew, Walter Koch; her three step children, Devin (Carol), Jay (Sue), and Jolinda; and many nieces and nephews who thought the world of her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Emil and Dorothy Stull, her first husband, Henry Marzuki
Jr., her brother, Nicholas Stull and by her step son, Edward.
