Kenneth R. Steil, 79, of Sheridan, Illinois passed away, Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at Rush Copley Medical Center. He was born April 7, 1944 in Aurora, Illinois.
Kenneth was member of St. Joseph Church. He was a proud U.S. Army Veteran. Ken was the owner operator of Steil Truck Lines Inc since 1974 and Aurora Beverage Distributors which has been in his family since 1929.
He is survived by his wife of fifty five years, Pamela Stuart; three children, Ken (Kathleen) Steil, Jr., Katie Steil, Kristopher (Staci) Steil; seven grandchildren, Sara (Abhi) Sabharwal, Josh (Faith) Lincoln, Kenneth Steil, III, Jessica Lincoln, Jenna Steil, Cory Withrow-Steil, Sophia Withrow-Steil; a great grandchild, Saanvi Sabharwal; three sisters Janice (Dave) Watson, Kristen (Bill) Chrnko, Rae (Todd) Thomas; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Ray and Kathryn (Poss) Steil; his son, Kevin Steil; and his grandson; Timothy Steil.
Visitation will be on Monday, December 4, 2023 at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N Lake St., Aurora 630-631-5500 from 4:00 until 8:00 PM.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 5, 2023 from from THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY; to St. Joseph Church at 10:00 AM Fr. Godwin Asuquo will officiate with interment at St. Joseph Cemetery.
