Kenneth Ray Goodson age 80 of Henagar, AL died Monday, July 5 at CHI Memorial Hospital. He was born in Fleming, KY.
Kenneth graduated from Sunbright High School in Sunbright, TN. He became an Electrical Engineer and worked for Zenith Radio and owned a TV Repair Business. He became a Terminal Manager for Gotoh Distribution that relocated him to Alabama. He bought a farm where he and Gayle raised chickens, spent lots of time with his strawberries and was an avid fisherman.
Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of 37 years, Gayle (Berg) Goodson, daughters, Donna Goodson(Guy Galbreth), Michele Fulkerson(Scott), son, Michael Goodson(Joy Tenny), grandchildren, Brett, Alexis, Alyssa, Amber, Anna, Beau, brother, Charles Goodson, aunt, Jean Goodson, sister-in-law Sue Goodson, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Effron and Bethel Mae (Honeycutt) Goodson, and his brother John Goodson.
Funeral from THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY will be Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at 9:30am to Annunciation Church at 10:00am. Fr. Patrick Gillemeyer, OSB will officiate with interment at Marywood Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday, July 12, 2021 from 3:00pm until 7:00pm at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N. Lake St., Aurora, 630-631-5500.
