Kenneth J. Comer, 59, passed away at his home on November 19, 2021. He was born January 13, 1962 in Aurora, the son of William B. and Elizabeth Comer.
Ken was a life-long resident of Aurora, graduating from Holy Angels grade school and West Aurora High School in 1980. He also attended Waubonsee College, majoring in art.
Throughout his life, Ken was a musician playing drums and other instruments in many bands throughout the Aurora/Naperville area. His recent focus was playing in a band and doing studio recording. Ken will be missed by his many friends from his band playing years.
Survivors include his mother, Elizabeth "Betty" Comer; brothers, William R. Comer, Gary (Maureen) Comer, Jeff (Mary) Comer, Tom Comer, Pat (Rosie) Comer; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death is his father, William B Comer, who died in 1998.
There will be a memorial visitation on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Holy Angels Church at 10:00am, one hour prior to the funeral mass at 11:00am.
Friends may greet the family in the narthex of the church. Please wear a mask according to the CDC guidelines when inside the church.
