Kaye Thill Mason, 97, passed away on November 17, 2021 at Avantara Nursing Home in Aurora, IL. She was born March 31, 1924, in Aurora, the daughter of Klaas and Alice (Jones) Groot. Kaye was a life-long resident of Aurora.
She graduated from East Aurora High School and was very proud of her city, serving on the board of Aurora Downtown for many years and helped found the LaSalle St. Auto show on Aurora's historic LaSalle Street. She also owned and operated Chek Lab, Professional Packaging and F&M Graphics until her retirement at age 90.
Survivors include her son, David (MaryBeth) Thill, her daughter, Janet (Gregg) Parker and granddaughter, Meg Parker.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother Bobby Groot; her sister, Betty Peshia; her first husband, Arnold Thill and her second husband, Dr. Coye Mason.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 21, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 Lake Street, Aurora. (630) 631-5500.
