Kathryn (Katie) M. Steil, 51, formerly of Aurora and Morris, Illinois passed away, Sunday, December 8, 2024 at Rush University Medical Center after a sudden illness. She was born August 31, 1973 in Aurora, Illinois.

Katie was a member of St. Joseph Church. She worked at PPG in Batavia, IL. Katie was a spontaneous, fun-loving, and adventurous person who valued her family and friends. Katie was looking forward to welcoming her first grandchild (Joshua & Faith Lincoln).

She is survived by her children; Joshua (Faith) Lincoln and Jessica Lincoln. Her mother Pamela (Stuart)Steil ; two siblings Ken (Kathleen) Steil, Jr., Kristopher (Staci) Steil; nieces and nephews Sara (Abhi) Sabharwal, Kenneth Steil III, Jenna Steil, Cory Withrow-Steil, Sophia Withrow-Steil; a great niece Saanvi Sabharwal; Aunts and Uncles Janice (Dave) Watson, Kristen (Bill) Chrnko, Rae (Todd) Thomas; Cathy Cutter, Linda (David) Morris, Steven Stuart, cousins Michelle, Amy, James, Daniel, Matthew and Emily.

Katie is preceded in death by her son Timothy Steil father Kenneth Steil SR, brother Kevin Steil Grandparents Raymond and Kathryn (Poss) Steil, Robert and Margaret (Dunlop) Stuart.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 12, 2024 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 North Lake Street Aurora, IL 60506, 630-631-5500.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 13, 2024 at 10:30 AM from THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY to St. Joseph Church at 11:00 AM; Fr. Jerome Leake will officiate with interment at St. Joseph Cemetery.
