June E. Todas, 96, of Aurora, Illinois passed away Friday, September 23, 2022 at Rush Copley Medical Center. She was born June 1, 1926 in Aurora, Illinois.

June was a devoted member of St. George Church. She served as an executive secretary for Sears until her retirement. June was an avid Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears fan. She also enjoyed spending time at the casino. She was known for her beautiful knitting, quilting, and crocheting.

She is survived by her three children, Richard (Beth) Todas, Candace (Dr. Richard) Popp, Cynthia Todas; six grandchildren, Kurt (Mary) Todas, Laurel Todas, Richard (Sherry) Todas, Nicholas (Karen) Popp, Jonathan (Maggie) Popp, Natalie (Paul) Szymiczek; sixteen great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Todas, in 1999; and her parents, Edward and Esther (Hellmuth) DeWitt.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at 9:30 AM from THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY to St. George Church at 10:00 AM; Fr. Frederick Peterson, O.S.B. will officiate with interment at Lincoln Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 27, 2022 from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM with a liturgical wake service at 4:00 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 North Lake Street, Aurora, IL 60506. (630) 631-5500.
