Judy A. (Kartheiser) McCue, 83, of Aurora passed away at her home surrounded by her entire family on Sunday, October 31, 2021 after a long battle with cancer. She was born October 21, 1938 in Aurora, IL.

Judy graduated from St Nicholas Catholic Elementary and Madonna Catholic High School (1957). She was an athlete playing basketball and continued on a bowling team throughout her life. She worked briefly at the Burlington Northern Railroad before starting her family and later at Wellness Inc.

Judy married Robert D McCue on May 9, 1959 in Aurora. Together they celebrated 62 years of marriage. She spent her lifetime with him vacationing in Minnesota fishing, gardening, and dedicating herself to her family.

Judy loved to attend sporting events and never missed her children's and eventually her grandchildren's activities. She was an avid bird watcher and would place special feeders for her favorite birds, the Cardinals. Judy enjoyed her weekly exercise classes and friends at the Prisco Community Center and their after workout sessions at Burger King. Everyone that knew Judy would describe her as generous, loving, hardworking and loyal to the core, to her family and friends. Judy will be forever deeply missed by all.

She is survived by her husband, Robert D. McCue; her children Robert A (Brenda) McCue, Michael (Ann) McCue, Ron (Sherry Wirtz) McCue, Mary McCue; her siblings Ron (Irene) Kartheriser, Mailee Lange, Wendy (Ray) Schnurstein, Terry (Marilu) Kartheiser; her sister-n-law Joan McCue, her grandchildren Jeremiah (Julia) McCue, Cory (Angelica) McCue, Ries McCue, Riley McCue, Casey Glassman; and many extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents Florence (Assell) and Elmer Kartheiser; her husband's parents Daisy (Seidlleman) and James McCue, her sister Linda Kartheiser; her son Randy McCue and Jeff McCue; her in-laws Carol (Patrick) Burke, Diane (Arnold )Fezekas, and James McCue Jr.; and several extended family members.

A funeral Mass will be offered on Friday, November 5, 2021 at 10:00am at St. Joseph Church. Fr. Matthew McMorrow will officiate and in accordance with Judy's wishes, her burial will be private.
