Judith A. Hushaw, 78, of Aurora, Illinois passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at Ascension Mercy Medical Center. She was born June 25, 1945 in Elmhurst, Illinois.
Judy was a member of Holy Angels and St. Peter Churches in Aurora. She was a devoted geriatric nurse in the Aurora area for over forty years until her retirement from The Tillers in Oswego; she liked to say she "loved her old souls." She volunteered her time as the volleyball coach at Holy Angels Grade School for many years.
She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her two sons, Brian (Lisa) Hushaw and Brett Hushaw; six grandchildren, Jacqueline (Ryan) Forgue, Brian (Elyse) Hushaw, Jr., Jessie Hushaw, Aden Hushaw, Jocelyn Hushaw and Shanna (Chris) Harris; three great grandchildren, Penelope Harris, Malcolm Harris, and Eleanor Forgue; her brother, John (Elise) Campbell; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell "Skip" Hushaw; her parents, John and Mary (Child) Campbell; seven brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held Thursday, November 16, 2023 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 North Lake Street, Aurora, Illinois 60506.
Funeral services and interment will be private.
