Juan Leura Barrientos, 77, passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023 at in Aurora. Juan was born on June 17, 1946 in Donna, Texas the son of Estevan Leura and Natalia Barrientos.
A devoted, loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather Juan was a machinist for Sunoco Drum Manufacturing in Naperville for many years prior to his retirement. He is cherished and will be missed by his family and friends.
Juan is survived by his children, Lalo (Margaret) Paiz of Lake Jackson, Texas, Rosa (George) Green of Freeport, Texas, Reynaldo Gonzales of Aurora, Rael Gonzales of Aurora, and Pablo (Norma Gonzales, Jr. of Freeport, Texas; fifteen grandchildren; twenty eight great grandchildren; and brother, Lupe.
Preceding him in death is his beloved of over forty years, Eufemia Avalos; parents and brother, Lionel Gonzales.
Funeral Service will begin Thursday, August 3, 2023 at 10:00 AM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 North Lake Street, Aurora, 630-631-5500. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
