Josue Silva, 43, of Aurora, died Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Alexian Brothers Hospice in Elk Grove Village. He was born January 9, 1979, in Aurora the son of Antonio and Maria (Ortiz) Silva.
He had worked at Menards Distribution Center in Plano, IL and Bryan, OH for the past 10 years. He enjoyed lottery tickets and trips to the casino.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1989 and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Survivors include his mother of Aurora; two brothers Juan (Elvia) Silva of Helotes, TX and Adrian Silva of Aurora; three sisters Maria Silva of Aurora, Lupe (Manuel) Carrera of Aurora and Lorena (Ramon Carrera) Silva of Montgomery; his former partner Melissa Flores and step-daughter Laila of Bryan, OH; also several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 21, 2022 at 9:30 AM from THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY to St. Nicholas Church at 10:00 AM. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 20, 2022 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N. Lake St., Aurora, IL 60506. 630-631-5500.
