Jose L. Valenzuela, 81, of Montgomery, died Saturday August 13, 2022. He was born December 4, 1940 in Hidalgo, TX, the son of Luis and Adelina (Vela) Valenzuela.
Jose had worked for Caterpillar in Montgomery for over 30 years prior to his retirement in 2001. He was a faithful Catholic, a loving father and grandfather, and an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Maria; his son Javier (Kathryn) Valenzuela of Oswego; his daughter Teresa (Oscar) Sotelo of Montgomery; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at 12:00 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N. Lake Street, Aurora. 630-631-5500. Fr. Patrick Gillmeyer will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM Wednesday, August 17, 2022. Cremation will follow.
