Jose Eusebio Salas, 79, of Aurora, Illinois passed away Sunday, September 15, 2024 at Ascension Mercy Medical Center. He was extremely proud to have been born August 14, 1945 in El Rancho El Pastor, Seccion Coronel Herrera Municipio de Montemorelos, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
Jose was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and uncle; he will be dearly missed by those who loved him.
He is survived by the love of his life and wife, Maria De La Luz (De La Torre) Salas; two daughters, Maricela (Victor) Franco, Maria (Ramiro) Mojica; five grandchildren, Diego Franco, Omar (Natalie) Franco, Eduardo Mojica, Andres Mojica, Aylin Mojica; three great grandchildren, Olivia Gutierrez, Victor Franco, Andrea Franco; six sisters, Imelda (Enrique) Contreras, Maria (Raul) Rios, Ana (Pedro) Cervantes, Rosaura (Ignacio) Ramirez, Diana (Antonio) Cervantes, Martha Lorena (Juan) Aranda; his brother, Dagoberto (Oralia) Salas; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Eva (Reyna) Salas; his sister, Raquel Medina; and his brother, Jorge Salas.
Funeral service will be Friday, September 20, 2024 at 9:30 AM from THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY to Sacred Heart Church; Fr. Juan Arciniegas will officiate with interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Thursday, September 19, 2024 from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 North Lake Street Aurora, IL 60506, 630-631-5500.
