John F. Pasulka, 86, of Aurora, IL passed away Friday, March 28, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 5, 1938 in St. Louis, MO., the son of Marie and Nicholas Pasulka.

John, the eldest child in a family of thirteen siblings, learned his family values and strong work ethic from his parents. After meeting at DePaul University, he and his wife GiGi raised their three children in Aurora, and he eventually ran his own business. In his leisure time, John loved outdoor activities such as gardening, swimming, fishing with his friends, and even took up SCUBA diving in his sixties. Along the way, he became a friend of Bill W. His four grandchildren were his greatest joy, and his family will miss him every day.

John is survived by his wife of sixty two years, Georgiana (Hofelt) Pasulka: three children, Dolores Pasulka, Anita (Patrick) McCafferty, Andrew Pasulka; four grandchildren, Bridget McCafferty, Claire McCafferty, Alexandra Pasulka, Mark Pasulka; two sisters, Irene O'Neill, Mary (Keith) Knapp; seven brothers, William (Melanie) Pasulka, W. Raymond (Pamela) Pasulka, Paul Pasulka, Robert Pasulka, Patrick (Kim) Pasulka, David Pasulka, Donald Pasulka; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nicholas and Marie (Vierling) Pasulka; two brothers, Michael Pasulka, Joseph Pasulka; and a sister, Anna Marie Gutzeit.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 2, 2025 from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 North Lake Street Aurora, IL 60506, 630-631-5500.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 3, 2025 at 11:30 AM from THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY; to Holy Angels Church at 12:00 PM; Fr. Michael Laven will officiate. Interment will be private.
