John J. Kartheiser, 80, of Aurora, IL Passed away on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at AMITA Health Alexian Brothers Hospital in Elk Grove Village. He was born on March 27, 1941 in Aurora, IL., the son of Julius and Geniveve Kartheiser.
John worked for Waste Management in Batavia for several years. He received great enjoyment being an active member of Amvets, the Legion, and Wild Rose Club where he bartended after his retirement.
Survivors include his three children, Brett (Dana) Kartheiser, Mike (Karri) Kartheiser, and Julie (David) Bennett; grandchildren, Ashley (Tyler) Jones, Amber Kartheiser, Brock Kartheiser, Sydney (Branden) Niehaus, and Trevor Bennett; great granddaughters, Kinsley Jones and Addison Mae Niehaus; sisters, Johann Cambell, and Marilyn Fiddler.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sandra Kartheiser his parents.

Memorial services for John and Sandra will be on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at 6:30 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY.
