Joanne R. DesJardine, 91, of North Aurora, IL passed away peacefully on Friday, May 24, 2024 at her home.
Loving mother of Tim DesJardine, Mike (DeDe) DesJardine, Lori (Gary) Dieter, and Kristi Satter. Devoted grandmother of Jill Merker, Becky (Joey) McMullen, Jenny (Chad) New, Mandy (Sheldon) White, Danny DesJardine, Kyle (Kristina) Dieter, Kacie (Karan) Jumani, and Josh (Christy) Dieter and 17 great grandchildren. She is survived by several nieces and nephews including her very special niece Katie Ruddy.
She was preceded in death by her parents Asa and Irene (Higgins) Heath, her husband Donald R. DesJardine, her grandson Thomas James Satter, son-in-law Dale Satter, her sister Patricia Zikas and brother James Heath.
Joanne was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church. She and her husband Don enjoyed many years traveling across the country in their trailer. She had fun with her friends at many activities including exercise class, Friendly Center, Young at Hearts, walking, lunch and book clubs. Joanne enjoyed special times with her daughters on their annual trips to Wisconsin. Family was her greatest joy and she loved every memory they made together. Joanne will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
