Jeffrey P. Abel, 69, of Aurora passed away on November 29, 2022 at Rush-Copley Medical Center. He was born August 9, 1953 in Aurora, IL.
Jeffrey was employed as a cook for many years at Bill's Restaurant. He was a longtime member of the Tiger Club.
He is survived by his mother Rosemary (Linden) Abel; his brother Scott (Claudia) Abel; his sister-in-law Mary Michels Abel; his aunt Helen Greene; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Charles Abel; his sister Denise; two brothers Bradley and David; his maternal grandparents Margaret and Peter Linden; and his paternal grandparents Marge and Edwin Abel.
A memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at 10:00am at Sacred Heart Church. Fr. Jerome Leake will officiate with inurnment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
