Jeanette S. Pattermann

Jeanette Susanna Pattermann, of Rockledge, Florida, formerly of Aurora, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 12, 2013 at her home. She was born June 24, 1922 in Aurora, Illinois. Jeanette was the loving wife of Carl J. Christoffel for 36 years, and was later married to Paul C. Pattermann for 8 years until his death in 1998. Jeanette was employed at Pictorial Paper Company, and also worked for Price Castle, City Hall Pharmacy and Simpson Electric. Jeanette was an avid reader and enjoyed playing Canasta and Pinnoccle. She also loved to bowl and square dance, and was very active in parish activities at St. Therese and O.L.G.C. Catholic Churches, including the Blessed Virgin Sodality, Blue Army and was one of the original members of the daily rosary group at O.L.G.C. Church. Survivors include her son, Dwayne (Carol) Christoffel; her granddaughter, Lisa Christoffel Woodson; great grandson, TJ Woodson; her brothers, Ernest (Mary) Frieders, Albert (Norma) Frieders and Joseph (Patricia) Frieders; her sisters, Rita Kiefer and Loretta Spalding; brother-in-law, Raymond Bertrang; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Carl J. Christoffel and Paul C. Pattermann; her parents, Peter and Elizabeth Frieders; sisters, Elizabeth Baumann, Pauline Wackerlin and Marian Bertrang; sister-in-law, Delores Frieders; brothers-in-law, Henry Baumann, Ralph Wackerlin, Eugene Patterson, John Kiefer and Joseph Spalding; and two nieces, Deborah Frieders and Louise Nestor. Jeanette’s family wish to extend special thanks to her care givers of almost four years, Rose and Rob Oudejans and family, Hospice of Health First, West Melbourne, FL and Lee Weber. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 16, 2013 from THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY at 9:30 AM to Our Lady of Good Counsel Church at 10:00 AM. Fr. David Engbarth will officiate with interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 15, 2013 from 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N. Lake St., Aurora. 630-631-5500.
