Jean Mickle, 98, of Aurora, died Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at Avantara of Aurora. She was born November 22, 1923 in Aurora, the daughter of Fred and Mildred (Doonan) Batey.
Jean enjoyed cooking and keeping up on current events.
She married John Mickle at St. Michael's Church in Aurora March 3, 1959. He preceded her in death in 1984. She was also preceded in death by her son Thomas in 2003.
Survivors include her daughter Lisa Mickle of Aurora; her son John Mickle of Lisle; two grandchildren Ellen and Charles; and her brother Robert (Karen Lowden) Batey of Rome, WI.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at 1:00 PM at St. Michael Romanian Byzantine Church in Aurora with Fr. Remus Orian officiating. Burial of cremains will follow in St. Michael Cemetery.
