Jean Franzen, 90, of Aurora passed away Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Asbury Gardens in North Aurora. She was born December 5, 1930 in East St. Louis, IL.
Jean was employed in a clerical position at Aurora Pump from 1964 until her retirement in 1996. She loved to bake and when she did, she always shared what she made with her co-workers. Jean loved her family very much; they were everything to her. She also enjoyed sewing and knitting. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her four children Michael (Kimery) Franzen of Katy, TX, Cindy Hoffman of Aurora, Karen (Chuck) Nelson of Aurora, and Timothy (Sue) Franzen of Aurora; 11 grandchildren Michelle (Bob) Jones, Marcia (Ben) Silverberg, Arin (Bryan) Carter, Tom Franzen, Katie (Aaron) Reinhart, Megan (Joel) Oros, Laura Franzen and Noah Franzen, Paul (Lisa Strickland) Neitzel, Mike Neitzel, and Cassandra (Bror) McWhinney; 16 great grandchildren; her sister Patricia Watson of Beaver Falls, PN; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Marguerite (Jeffrey) and Dwight Anderson, her son-in-law Tom Hoffman, and her sister Lorraine Rice.
