Janice DeBroux, 87, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2023 in North Aurora. She was born on August 25, 1936 in Chicago, the daughter of Floyd and Evelyn (Schmidlkofer) Pendleton. She was married to Carl DeBroux who preceded her in death.
A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Janice was a founding and devoted member of Blessed Sacrament Church in North Aurora where she had many responsibilities. She was also inducted in the Bowling Hall of Fame and tutored many children throughout the years at Goodwin Elementary School in North Aurora. She is cherished and will be missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Thomas (Susan) DeBroux and Melissa (John) Held; grandchildren, Samuel DeBroux, Alison (Christian) Boggs, Emily (Chris Regner) Held, Elizabeth Held, Maxwell (Anna) Held, and Alexander Held; brothers, Jon (Sheryl) Pendleton and Mike Pendleton; and sister-in-law, Jean Pendleton.
Preceding her in death is her husband of 59 years, Carl; brother, Robert "Butch" Pendleton; and sister-in-law, Barb Pendleton.
Memorial service will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023 at 5:30 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N. Lake Street, Aurora. 630-631-5500.
Memorial visitation will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023 from 3:00 PM until 5:30 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY.
Funeral Mass will be on Friday, November 10. 2023 at St Mary's Catholic Church, 119 W 7th St
Kaukauna, WI 54130 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be at the Church beginning at 10:00 AM until Mass time.

Goodbye, Thank You, and I Love You Mom
Goodbye Mom, it sucks letting go. I am sure someday the sadness will slow. Drifting through memories will help us to heal but right now it is hard knowing we are at life's final deal. We will miss playing games and gathering together. Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving, Birthdays and more now have changed forever.

Thank you, mom, but those words don't express all the blessings you given and the lessons you've taught. You picked us up when we hurt and straightened us up when we fought. You got us to church and made clear right from wrong. You gave us a home and family in which to belong. You sheltered and pushed when we needed both. In doing all those little things you insured your kid's growth.

I love you mom, today it seems like I didn't say that enough to you. I hope that even though the words sometimes failed me that you always knew. Give Dad a hug for me 'cause I miss him so much, I envy that you get his embrace and his touch. Hopefully, one day we will be together again, and forever together we all will remain.
Go be with Dad – we will all be ok – things will ease up a bit day after day. You showed us how to be strong, and how to grow through our grief, you have climbed all your mountains now go rest in peace. We all will remember, and our love will not end, so goodbye, thank you and love to you Mom as our heart's they will mend.
