James Tod Michael, 75, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2023. Tod was born on September 22, 1947 and was a life-long resident of Aurora. He was the son of the late Richard and Stella (Stenson) Michael. He attended and graduated from West Aurora High School and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Aurora College. Tod was a past president of the Rotary Club of Fox Valley Villages, IL.
Survivors include his loving and dedicated wife, Marian (Heins) Michael; his son, Jon Michael and daughter, Janna Michael. Tod was very proud of his children and their accomplishments.
Tod enjoyed many activities including golf, watching auto racing and attending the annual IndyCar race at Road America, Elkhart Lake, WI with his son, Jon. He also cherished family vacations and especially loved his time spent in Door County, WI. with Marian.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Angels Parish, 120 S. Russell Street, Aurora, Il., 60506.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2023 from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 North Lake Street, Aurora. 630-631-5500.
Graveside service will be Thursday, June 1, 2023 immediately following the visitation at Marywood Cemetery, 1820 Church Road in Aurora. Deacon Tom Hawksworth presiding.
