James Eugene "Jim" Hansen, 82, of Montgomery, passed away on Monday, April 19, 2021 at his home. Born on May 6, 1938 Jim was the son of Merson J. Hansen and Gladys (Caron) Hansen. He married Donna Marie Johnston and together raised their family.
Jim served our country in the Navy during the Korean Conflict. For nearly 35 years he worked for Western Electric, AT&T, and Lucent Technologies. He loved fishing, golf, and was a "pool shark". Jim was a kindhearted friend who always wanted to help others. Those who knew him knew he did things "his way".
He is survived by his children, Jason(Tracy) Hansen, Randy Hansen, Bradley Hansen, Jeanne (James) Anderson, and Holly (John) Wilkinson; grandchildren, Danielle, Jaime, John, Jacob, Gabriel, and Isabella; brother, William Hansen; sister, Marcia Duvick; nieces and nephews, Paula, Dana, Kristin, Diana, and Christopher.
Proceeding him in death is his wife, Donna Hansen; son, James (infancy); and sister, Jane Christensen.
Services will be private for family and held at a later time.
