Isabelle Marie Biesemier, 100 years, 9 months, and 8 days, of Aurora, passed away Friday, May 31, 2024 at Asbury Gardens Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on August 23, 1923 in Aurora, IL.
Isabelle was a member of St. Mary Church for many years. She was very proud of the jobs she had during her life. She was first employed at Kresge's when she was in high school. Then she was employed at Sensenbaugh for many years and finished her working career at K-Mart in North Aurora, IL. Isabelle was a feisty lady and at the same time, she was also very kind and extremely truthful. She was loved by all who knew her and will be missed by many.
She is survived by two children Dennis Blagrave of Momence, IL and Joan (Paul) Baxendale of Aurora, IL; two grandsons Bill and Greg Baxendale; two granddaughters Breyonna and Hannah Baxendale of Aurora, IL; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Donald Blagrave; her second husband Ernst Biesemier; her parents Delia (Murphy) and John McDonnell; her brother John McDonnell; and her sister Helen Berggren.
Funeral from THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY will be Thursday, June 6, 2024 at 9:30am to St. Mary Church at 10:00am. Fr. Timothy Piasecki will officiate with interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
