Iris Dalia Bracero, 70, of Aurora, passed away Friday, September 22, 2023 at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born September 8, 1953 in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico to Miguel and Hipolita (Gonzalez) Rivera.
Iris' family moved to Aurora when she was three years old; she was the youngest of four children. She graduated from West Aurora High School in 1971. Iris was a beautiful and kind person, she was fun loving and had a great sense of humor. She was employed at Lucent Technologies for over twenty years, and then at Dreyer Clinic until her retirement.
Iris is survived by her two loving sons, Adam Antonio Bracero and Alejandro Miguel Bracero; her grandchildren, Aaliyah Bracero and Romeo Bracero. Also grieving her loss are her three siblings, Miguel Rivera, Edgard Rivera, and Luz Maria (Frank) Martinez, and her nephews, Andy Hernandez, Alexis Rivera, Aaron Martinez, and Anthony Martinez.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at 7:00 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY; Interment will be private.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 27, 2023 from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 North Lake Street, Aurora, Illinois 60506.
