Hortencia Claudio, 95, of Aurora passed away at her home on Saturday, February 18, 2023. She was born on March 28, 1927 in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico.
She is survived by her children Lydia Fonseca, Miguel A. (Isabel) Fonseca, Basilio (Ana) Fonseca, Paulita Fonseca, Emerejildo Fonseca, Jesse (Vanessa) Fonseca, Raymundo (Susan) Fonseca, Carmen Fonseca, Margo (Ricardo) Delgado, Felix M. Fonseca, Nelson (Sonia) Fonseca, and Victor (Nelly Bracero) Fonseca; numerous grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren Giselle, Dario, and Ray Anthony Amado; her sister Julia Torres; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Felix "El Don" Fonseca; her son in infancy; two grandchildren Ana E. Ortiz and Adrian Fonseca; her parents Librada (DeJesus) and Juan Claudio; and brothers and sisters.
Funeral from THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY will be Friday, February 24, 2023 at 9:30am to St. Joseph Church at 10:00am. Fr. Jerome Leake will officiate with interment at St. Joseph Cemetery.
