Obituary

Guillermina Cacique, 55 years of age, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at Copley Medical Hospital in Aurora. Guillermina was born May 13, 1965 in Salvatierra Gto., Mexico, to Refugio Cacique Avila and Maria Luz Penaran Ibarra.
Guillermina was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and a friend. She lived her life to the fullest through simple pleasures. She loved helping others putting anyone before herself. She will always be remembered for praying for and with others, always smiling, wearing pink as it was her favorite color, chatting with friends and family, her passion for flowers and plants, and unwinding by driving in her car listening to some oldies.
She enjoyed working for Power Packaging in Geneva for over six years where she met great coworkers. She was a loving and caring person, devoted mother, and grandmother. Her family was the center of her life, and would do anything to make her nieces and nephews smile. "To know her was to love her."
Guillermina was the second youngest of 12 children. Her parents and five siblings preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children, Jesus F. Ortiz Cacique (Ana Lara), Luis A. Ortiz Cacique (Elizabeth Avila), M. Karina Ortiz Cacique, and Ana A. Ortiz Cacique; grandchildren, Emelin Ortiz Lara, Brisa Ortiz Lara, Natalie Ortiz Avila, Liam Ortiz Avila, and Elias Vazquez Cacique; brothers, Moises Cacique (Linda Cacique), Jose L. Cacique (Amelia Cacique), Juan C. Cacique (Noemi Cacique); sisters, Evangelina Cacique and Rosa G. Cacique; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Family, friends, and others whose lives Guillermina touched are invited to THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N. Lake Street, Aurora for a memorial visitation Saturday, August 8th, 2020 form 1:00PM to 3:30PM. A private Memorial Service will follow at 3:30pm. Pastor Victor Mendoza will officiate.
In lieu of gifts, a donation to the family would be greatly appreciated.
