Gonzalo "Gonzo" Trujillo, age 58, of Aurora, died Monday, March 8, 2021, in his home. He was born January 10, 1963, in Chihuahua, Mexico, the son of Jose and Petra (Lozoya) Trujillo.
For the past 5 years he had worked at Aurora Packing Company.
He was preceded in death by his father, and 2 brothers Pedro and Damien Trujillo.
Survivors include his son Alex Trujillo and his daughter Alexis Trujillo both of Aurora; his granddaughter Maritza Trujillo; 5 sisters Rosa (Efren) Salazar of El Paso, TX, Maria (Lindolfo Chavira) Trujillo of Aurora, Graciela Rascon of Oakland, CA, Dolores (Gilberto) Gutierrez of Bakersfield, CA, and Patricia Munoz of El Paso, TX; 2 brothers Sebastian (Ingrid) Trujillo of Aurora, and Emmanuel Trujillo of El Paso, TX; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 14, 2021 from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at the DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 221 N. Lake St, Aurora, 630-631-5500. Due to Covid-19 pandemic protocols, non-family visitors are asked to pay their respects to the family for only a few minutes and exit the funeral home in a timely fashion. Social distancing and face masks are required for those in attendance. Funeral services will be held at a later date in El Paso, TX, and burial will be at Memorial Pines Cemetery in Sunland Park, NM. A memorial has been established.
