George fought his battle against Lewy Body Dementia with Parkinsonism for seven long years. Jesus has released him from the grip of this cruel disease and has welcomed him home in heaven where he will finally meet his first born (Richard Kenneth Little). George was such a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend and led a life of integrity, and strong work ethic. He never lost his sense of humor. Throughout his entire journey, he made everyone smile.

George was born in Aurora, IL in 1945, to Kenneth and Alice. He attended St. Nicholas Catholic School and Marmion High School. When George saw Beth serving at the soda fountain, it was love at first sight. They were married less than 2 years later at the ages of 18 and 20. 58 years later, they are more in love than ever. The legacy of this marriage and his love for his bride will impact many generations.
George's family meant everything to him. They were always his priority above all. His wife, daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were a source of joy and delight. He loved spending time with them, hearing about their lives, and celebrating milestones. Even in his last days, the mention of any of them brought a smile to his face and love to his eyes.
George served Honorably in the United States Army Active component as a Medical Specialist from 25 January 1966 to 24 January 1968 making the Rank of SP5 and earning the National Defense Service Ribbon and the Sharpshooter badge. Following his time as Active Duty SP5, Little served in the US Army reserves until 24 January 1972 when he was Honorably discharged from the U.S. Army. Walking in George's footsteps, both of his grandsons now serve in the United States Army.
George and Beth's first child Richard was born full-term and died on May 1, 1967. Their family later grew with Kimberley (1969) and Kelley (1972). They led a blessed and full life on Arlon Road surrounded by neighbors that became life-long friends.
George was a proud member of the machinist union (local 1202) at Austin-Western (until they closed in 1978) and Aurora Pump (1978 until retirement November, 2009). Both of his daughters enjoyed working with him at "The Pump" for many years.
George enjoyed spending his free time at The Pheonix Club where he served one term as Vice President and is a life-time member. He was also a member of several other Aurora Social Clubs.
George is survived by his beloved wife, Elizabeth (Heimann) Little, cherished daughters, Kimberley (Little) Rosebraugh (Mark), and Kelley (Little) Smith (Tim), grandsons Bradley Rosebraugh (Chelsea) and Trevor Smith (Emma Merrill), granddaughters Meghan (Rosebraugh) Turnure (David) and Jorden Smith. Great-grandsons Henry James and Luke George Rosebraugh and soon to join the family, Baby boy Turnure. Sister Karen (Little) Stewart, Best friend, Patricia (Capet) Lowe and numerous nieces and nephews.
George was preceded in death by Son, Richard Kenneth Little, Father Kenneth Little, Mother, Alice (Schiltz) Little, Brothers, Robert, William, and Gary Little. Best friend, Wayne Lowe (Jack).
Funeral services will be held for George on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 10:00am at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Visitation for George will be Friday, July 12, 2024 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N. Lake St., Aurora, 630-631-5500.
