Frank W. Kingsley, age 83, of North Aurora, died Thursday, February 4, 2021, at Seasons Hospice in Naperville. He was born June 28, 1937, in Aurora the son of Frank J. and Katherine (Assell) Kingsley.
He was a founding and active member of Blessed Sacrament Parish in North Aurora, where he served on the Planning Commission, the Men's Club, and as an usher.
Frank proudly served our country in the Marine Corps Reserve.
Frank was a Nicor Gas employee for 42 years prior to his retirement in 1996.
Frank is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Patricia (Byrne); his four children William Kingsley of Walworth, WI, Katherine (Joseph) Pierce, Carole (Todd) Freitag, and Jean Kingsley all of Aurora; five grandchildren Jacob Kingsley, Benjamin (Alissa) Pierce, Amy (Andrew) Olinger, Christian Freitag, and Natalie Freitag; three great-grandchildren Owen, Maeve, and Robert Pierce; his sister Ruthanne (Peter) Hettinger of Sandwich; his sister-in-law Marybeth Kingsley of Ft. Myers, FL; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Robert Kingsley and his niece Christina Schultz.
Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at 10:30 AM at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in North Aurora. Fr. Max Lasrado will officiate with interment at Marywood Cemetery. Prior to attending the funeral mass attendees are asked to register at www.blessedsacrament-na.org as there is a limit of seventy that may attend.
Visitation will be Monday, February 8, from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N. Lake St., Aurora, 630-631-5500.
Due to Covid-19 pandemic protocols, non-family visitors are asked to pay their respects to the family during visitation for only a few minutes and exit the funeral home in a timely fashion. Social distancing and face masks are required for those in attendance.
