Frank C. Anderson, 90, of Lemont, Illinois, formerly of Aurora, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at Lemont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Lemont, Illinois. He was born January 18, 1934 in Aurora, Illinois.
Frank was a lifelong resident of Aurora and graduated from Marmion Military Academy. He was the Vice President of Aurora Wire after many years of devoted service. Frank was an avid outdoorsman enjoying boating, fishing and golfing. He was a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan.
Frank was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather; he will be dearly missed by all who loved him.
He is survived by his three daughters, Cindy Edwards, Cathy (Paul) McCrimmon, Carla (Carl) Nickel; six grandchildren, Amber Nickel, Christopher Edwards, Missy (Michael) Bastida, Amanda (Pat) McGivney, Michelle (Cory) Orman, Amy (Will Matlak) Nickel; ten great grandchildren, Abbie Gayhart, Katie Gayhart, Avery McGivney, Colin McGivney, Leighann Bedford, Sawyer Bedford, Leon Bastida, Jaymin Orman, Adayla Orman, Siena Orman; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by loving wife, Carol (Miller) Anderson; his parents, Charles and Catherine (Madernach) Anderson; his sister, Mary Seidelman; his brother, Gilbert Anderson; and a son-in-law, Terry Edwards.
Visitation will be held Sunday, November 24, 2024 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 North Lake Street Aurora, IL 60506, 630-631-5500.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 25, 2024 at 10:00 AM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY; Fr. Jerome Leake will officiate with interment at St. Joseph Cemetery.
