Eva R. Salas, 99, of Aurora passed away on Wednesday June 1, 2022 surrounded by her beloved family. She was born April 13, 1923 in Montemorelos, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, the daughter of Jose Reyna and Maria Correa.
Eva will be deeply missed and cherished. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother. Her happiest moments were spent surrounded by her family. She loved dancing her chotiz, redovas, and danzones. Her favorite song was "Cerezo Rosa."
She is survived by her children, Imelda (Enrique) Contreras, Jose Eusebio (Maria) Salas, Maria Del Refugio (Ernesto) Rios, Ana Maria (Pedro) Cervantes, Dagoberto (Oralia) Salas, Rosaura (Ignacio) Ramirez, Diana (Antonio) Cervantes, and Martha Lorena (Juan) Aranda; grandchildren, Maricela Franco, Araceli Arriaga, Sandra Salas, Maria Yesenia Mojica, Jorge Salas, Jr., Irma Y. Escamilla, Enrique Contreras, Jr., Veronica Salas Esparaza, Maria Griselda Rios, Claribel Leticia Rios, Raul Rios, Mayra Angelica Rios, Giselle Salas, Jesus Eduardo Medina, Ignacio Ramirez III, Antonio Cervantes Jr., Luis Alberto Medina, Carlos Ramirez, Belinda Salas, Nayeli Alejandra Aranda, Armando Cervantes, Pedro Cervantes, Dagoberto Salas Jr., Jacqueline Cervantes, and Ambar Selena Aranda; 37 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren, plus one little blessing on the way.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Guadalupe Salas Sanchez; son, Jorge Salas; daughter, Raquel Medina Salas; her parents; 7 siblings; and special individual, Jovan Garcia Ortiz .

Funeral from THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY will be Monday, June 6, 2022 at 9:30am to St. Joseph Catholic Church at 10:00am. Fr. Matthew McMorrow will officiate with interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Visitation was held on Sunday, June 5, 2022 from 2:00pm until 6:00pm at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N. Lake St., Aurora, 630-631-5500.
