Eugenia Leon passed away peacefully in Naperville, Illinois on May 11th, 2026. She was a loving, caring woman who was one of a kind.

She was born to Gregorio and Marcelina (Aguilar) Rangel in Somerset, Texas on November, 15th, 1939. She was a member of St. Therese Church in Aurora and resided in Aurora for 53 years.

She is survived by her Children; Martha (Arturo) Gonzales, Genevieve Torres Huerta, Grace (Luis) Lizalde, Linda Torres, Carmen (Carl Ibarra) Ortiz, Arturo (Lucy Olvera James) Ortiz, sister; Guadalupe Arguello, sister-in-laws Abundia, Christina, Linda Rangel, grandchildren; Issac Gonzales, Priscilla (Jabes) Rojas, Christina (Mike) Reece, Jessica Huerta, Joseph Juan Torres, Christopher, Amanda, Laura Morales, Jazmin (Jake) Pratscher, Veronica, Valeria, Sarah, Rebecca Lizalde, Desiray (Erfan) Haghighatjoo, Great Grandchildren; Ariella Gonzales, Sara Campos, Jaden Marrero, Kiara Kennedy, Elijah Kennedy, Adam Morales, Amaya Morales, Briella Morales, Analise Washington, Anastasia Washington, Logan Pratsher, Ignatius Pratsher, Karol Pratscher, Roxanna Haghighatjoo, and her dog Foxy.

She was preceded in death by both her parents, brothers; Ramon Rangel, Juan (Clemencia) Rangel, Jimmy Rangel, Joe Rangel, Richard Rangel, sister; Fabiana Rangel, and daughter; Sara Leon.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May, 19, 2026, at 9:30AM from Daleiden Mortuary to St. Therese of Jesus Catholic Church at 10:00AM. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Monday, May 18, 2026, from 4:00PM until 7:00PM at Daleiden Mortuary (220 North Lake Street, Aurora, IL 60506 Phone: (630)631-5500).
