Emily Paige Taylor passed away on Friday, March 5, 2021 at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois at the age of 17. Emily was born on August 25, 2003 in Wayne, Michigan to her parents Maggie J. Taylor and Jason R. Gonzalez.
Emily leaves behind her devoted and loving parents; her mom Maggie Taylor and her dad Jason Gonzalez; her sister Madilyn McKee-Gonzalez, her two grandmothers that Emily referred to as "Momer" Susan Taylor and Dawn Stevens; her two grandfathers that she called "Grampy" Steve Taylor and "Popper" Rene Gonzalez; her four uncles Noah Taylor, Jared Gonzalez, Julian Gonzalez, and Jamie Gonzalez; her aunt Jenny Coats; her two great grandmas Jan St. Peter and Sylvia Gonzalez; her great grandpa Roberto Gonzalez; three great aunts Jackie Porter, Linda Porter, and Colleen Dooley; her cousin Stacy Thomas; and her cats, Milo, Millie, Peaches, and Zoey
Preceded Emily in death is her grandma Jiller Taylor; two great grandmas Agnes Taylor and Thelma Porter; great grandpa Tom St. Peter; aunt Jenny Gonzalez; and great great grandma Luella Truesdale.
Emily loved to joke and make people laugh. She had a very funny personality and it showed, she often would have a smile on her face and would be laughing. She enjoyed fashion, hair and makeup. Even at her young age she was adventurous, enjoyed traveling with family and friends, going to the beach and swimming in the waters of Florida and California. Emily liked joking with her family and friends, making funny faces and taking funny pictures with them. She loved driving as well. She liked to paint, enjoyed different types or art. Emily liked music and dancing. Pizza was her favorite food though she liked to cook other foods as well. She loved cats. Emily loved her family immensely and she will be missed by all of them.
