Emeterio Rodriguez, 82, of Aurora, IL passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Amita Mercy Medical Center. He was born March 3, 1938 in Mexico.
He retired from Nabisco after many years of service. He was a member of the Aurora Latin American Club where he was the best pool player. He was a highly admired and well respected member of the community.
He is survived by wife Maria M. Rodriguez; seven children, Maria Isabel Rodriguez, Alonzo (Lala) Rodriguez, Abel (Melissa) Rodriguez, Dora (Tony) Ochoa, Javier (Maria) Rodriguez, Miguel (Yolanda) Rodriguez, Rosa E. Rodriguez; two sisters, Maria Esperanza Rodriguez, Maria A. Rodriguez; two brothers, Jose Rodriguez, Aurelio Rodriguez; twenty five grandchildren; thirty six great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lino and Fermina (Ibarra) Rodriguez; a sister, Maria Isabel Rodriguez; three brothers, Lino Rodriguez, Feliz Rodriguez, Jesus Manuel Rodriguez; his loyal and loving dog "Cupid".
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 2, 2020 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N. Lake St. Aurora, IL. 60506. (630) 631-5500.
In adherence to Covid-19 pandemic protocols, non-family visitors are asked to pay their respects to the family for only a few minutes and exit the funeral home in a timely fashion. Social distancing and face masks are required for those in attendance.
