Edictor Gonzalez, 72 of Aurora IL passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Amita Mercy Medical Center. He was born May 24, 1949 in Lares, Puerto Rico.
Edictor was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church. He was a devoted family man and proud husband, father, grandfather, and brother.
He is survived by his wife of forty eight years, Nereida (Mendoza) Gonzalez; three children, Teresa Gonzalez, Roberto (Christina) Gonzalez, Rafael Gonzalez; two grandchildren, Joshua Olmedo, Amiyah Olmedo; three sisters, Rosa Gonzalez, Nilda Gonzalez, Nidia Gonzalez; three brothers, William Gonzalez, Juan 'Johnny' Gonzalez, Aramis Gonzalez; many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death his parents, Juan and Herminia (Santiago) Gonzalez; his sister, Palmira Gonzalez Valentin.
Funeral services and interment will be private.
