Dung Tran, 63, of Aurora passed away on March 25, 2021 at her home. She was born December 31, 1957 in Vietnam, the daughter of Tran Xuan Ru and Nguyen Thi Tinh. In 1979 she married Khanh Hung Le in Vietnam. Together they raised seven children.
Dung was courageous, strong, a loving mother and grandmother. She was a devout Catholic who loved and lived her faith. She was very dedicated to the Vietnamese community in Aurora and was a beautiful example of unconditional love. She will be missed profoundly by her loving family and friends.
Dung is survived by her husband, Khanh Hung Le; children, Khuong (Tuoi Vu) Le, Khiem Hernandez, Nhuong Diaz de Leon, Ha Guzman, Michael Le, Phu Le, Ngoc Le; father Tran Xuan Ru; eight grandchildren; and six brothers and sisters.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Nguyen Thi Tinh.
Funeral Mass will be Monday, March 29, 2021 at 9:30am from THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY to St. Rita of Cascia Catholic Church at 10:00am. Fr. Anthony Long will officiate with interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 28, 2021 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N. Lake St., Aurora, 630-631-5500. Due to Covid-19 pandemic protocols, non-family visitors are asked to pay their respects to the family for only a few minutes and exit the funeral home in a timely fashion. Social distancing and face masks are required for those in attendance.
