DOUGLAS H. BOCK
1953 - 2011

Douglas H. Bock, 57 of Aurora, IL passed away Friday, August 26, 2011 at Delnor Community Hospital in Geneva, IL. He was born November 18, 1953 in Aurora to Walter E. and Virginia K. (McCrea) Bock.

Doug was a loving husband, father and grandfather, who enjoyed nothing more than time spent with his family. For twenty five years he was a dedicated member of Annunciation school and parish where he coached, served on several committees, and ushered. He was also a longtime employee as a tool-and-die maker at Seal Master Bearings in Aurora, IL and most recently at Richardson Electronics in La Fox, IL. Doug was an avid Green Bay Packer fan who spent much of his life vacationing in the Northern Woods of Wisconsin. He always looked forward to his many trips up there with family and friends. Doug will be missed by those who loved him and knew him as "The Big Guy" with a big heart.

Survivors include his loving wife, Marsha (Nilges) Bock; four children, Michael (Noelle) Bock of Chicago,IL, David Bock of Chicago, IL, Kate (Luis) Ramos of Chicago, IL and Sarah Bock of Aurora, IL; two grandchildren, Olivia Ramos and Logan Bock; his sister, Cindy Bock of Sugar Grove, IL and by numerous nieces and nephews.

Doug was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 30, 2011 from 9:30 am at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY to Annunciation Church at 10:00 am. Fr. Patrick Gillmeyer, O.S.B. will officiate.
