Dolores J. Miklosik

Dolores J. Miklosik, 91, of Aurora, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018 at Bright Oaks of Aurora. She was born August 17, 1926 in Aurora, Illinois. Dolores was a 1944 graduate of Madonna Catholic High School. She married Stephen R. Miklosik in 1947. Together, Steve and Dolores started Stevens Cleaners in 1948. She was thankful for the many great customers and employees. Stevens Cleaners remains a family-run business today. Dolores was a long-time resident of Lehnertz Ave. in Aurora where she and Steve raised their family amongst many wonderful neighbors. They were long-time parishioners of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She delighted in their family home on Geneva Lake in Fontana, Wisconsin. After many weekend trips to the Lake Geneva area, they built the home of their dreams in her and Steve’s favorite place. She spent the summers there with the “kids” enjoying Buena Vista activities. She loved entertaining family, her “club” and friends from Aurora. A devoted wife, a loving mother, a cherished mother-in-law, and a beloved grandmother and great-grandmother, Dolores had two great loves in her life: her family and her faith. She enjoyed cooking and baking, playing cards and spending time with her family and friends. Dolores is survived by her children: Susan (Ken) Koepke and Steven (Michelle) Miklosik both of Aurora; her grandchildren: Renee Miklosik, Steven Miklosik, Megan Miklosik and Kimberly (Ken) Pace; and her great grandchildren, Colyn DeRoss and Austin Pace. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Stephen Miklosik in 1997; her parents, Leo and Elizabeth (Weirich) Davey; and Henry Ford, who raised her from childhood. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 10, 2018 from THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY at 12:30 pm to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 722 High St., Aurora, IL 60505 for Mass at 1:00 PM. Fr. Jerome Leake will officiate with interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, February 10, 2018 from 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N.
