Obituary

Diana Jean Mylan, age 83, of Woodruff, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at home on June 15, 2026.
Diana was born on December 26, 1942, to Paul and Elsie Hilger. She graduated from Madonna High School in 1960 and went on to attend beauty school, becoming a licensed beautician. Later in her career, Diana worked for nearly 16 years with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as a Management & Program Assistant before retiring.
Retirement marked the beginning of a new adventure for Diana and her beloved husband, Frank. Together they enjoyed flipping houses and sharing their passion for antiques through their store, Frank & Diana's Place, in Paw Paw, Illinois. Diana had a remarkable eye for design and loved collecting unique treasures. She never passed up the opportunity to stop at a garage sale, estate sale, auction, or antique store in search of her next special find.
Diana's strong Catholic faith was a guiding force throughout her life. She was a devoted member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Woodruff, Wisconsin. One of her greatest joys was having her marriage to Frank blessed at the church on April 11, 2026, a cherished occasion that brought them both great happiness.
Diana was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Elsie Hilger; her brother, Paul "Bud" Hilger Jr.; her sisters, Janet Linden and Rosemary Kent.
She is lovingly survived by her husband, Frank Mylan; her daughter, Bridget (Tom) Kinney; her son, Robert Dalton Testin; her stepdaughters, Theresa (Kenneth) Jones and Kimberly (Jay) Sira; her grandsons, Justin (Angela) Aloisio, Zachary (Britnee) Aloisio, and Kyle Aloisio; her granddaughter, Kara (Anthony) Agne; her step-grandchildren, Tashon, Hailey and Junior; four great-grandchildren; her sisters-in-law, Jean Hilger & Maureen (Jim) Kilmer; and many other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
Diana will be remembered for her great big smile, warmth, creativity, unwavering faith, humor and the love she shared with her family and friends. Her legacy lives on in the memories she created the treasures she collected, and the lives she touched throughout her journey.
May she rest in God's eternal peace.
