Diana M. Lopez, 79, of Aurora, passed away at her home on Friday, December 13, 2024. She was born on September 9, 1945 in Brownsville, TX.

Diana Maria was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. Her family, her faith in God and life itself were her greatest treasures. She unselfishly devoted her entire life to her loved ones and spent most of her days thinking and praying for all those she loved. She will be dearly missed and always remembered for her love, laughter and caring heart

She is survived by her six children Laura (Jesus) Miranda, Raul Lopez, Jr., David (Maria) Lopez, Diane Melissa (Monico) Lopez-Argueta, Juan (Rocio) Lopez, and Jose (Noemi) Lopez all of Aurora, IL; a special granddaughter Crystal E. Luna who was more like a daughter to Diana and numerous other grandchildren; numerous siblings and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandson Raul Jr. Ortiz III; her parents Maria (Teran) and Alfredo Martinez; and three brothers Mario, Pablo, and Augustine Martinez.

Funeral from THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY will be Thursday, December 19, 2024 at 9:30am to St. Rita of Cascia Church at 10:00am. Fr. Juan Ayala will officiate with interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
