Debra M. Parkhurst, 66, of Aurora, passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2022, in her home. She was born March 14, 1955, in Oswego, the daughter of Gordon and Grace (Collins) Nichols.
Debra and her husband were foster parents for many special needs children over 35 years.
She enjoyed bowling, and was an avid hockey fan.
Debra was preceded in death by her parents; her brother; her son David; and her grandson Edward.
Survivors include her husband Harry, of 49 years; her children Thomas (Kimberly) Parkhurst, Daniel (Kathryn) Parkhurst, Tiffany (Mike) Dockins, and Micheal (Leslie) Parkhurst; her adopted children Mandy (Bo) Millwood, Melinda Parkhurst, and Rebecca Parkhurst; nine grandchildren; two sisters Darlene and Mickey; and her brother Gene.
