David J. Jenkins, Jr., 57, of Aurora, Illinois, passed away Friday, April 21, 2023 at Jennings Terrace. He was born March 26. He is survived by his father, David J. Jenkins; his mother, Diane Jenkins; his stepmother Kay Jenkins; his brother, Christopher Jenkins; his niece, Cheyenne Jenkins; his dear friend (brother), Robert Salerno; his aunts and uncles, Mitchell (Claudia) Thornton, Marcus (Jane) Thornton, Ella (Dennis) Stien, Robert, (Margaret) Hammond, Jacqueline Jenkins, Marilyn Jenkins, Mary Bugby; many cousins and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Funeral Mass will be held Friday, April 28, 2023 at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Church, interment to follow at Sugar Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 28, 2023 from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 North Lake Street, Aurora, Illinois 60506.
