Dave A. Goble, 68, of Aurora, a kind man with a generous spirit and gentle soul, passed away late last week. He was afflicted at a relatively young age with Parkinson's Disease. This was an especially pernicious and aggressive version and took him way too early. Somewhat of a modern renaissance man, Dave was thoughtful and intelligent with a great sense of humor even to the end. He loved the arts, especially music and movies, was a musician, and an enthusiastic astronomer. He had friends around the world through his amateur radio hobby and had a degree in advanced electrical systems which he used in his work at Suncast. He was a fan of the Bears, the White Sox and a BIG fan of the Ohio State football team. In addition to all that, he was an intrepid traveler, hiking the Appalachian Trail, biking across Canada, touring Europe and many more adventures.
Dave is survived by his brother, John (Carol) Goble; niece, Gabrielle Goble; and nephew, Dillon Goble.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Goble; brother, Brian Goble; and half-sisters, Charmaine Young and Dorothy Rae Davis.
Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023 from 12:30 PM until 3:00 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 North Lake Street, Aurora. 630-631-5500.
